Dancing Rabbit

One of the most life-changing trips I've ever taken was this past June when we went, as a family, to an Eco-village in Missouri. It's called Dancing Rabbit. Talk about living better with less stuff! These people had hardly anything, and the kids that lived there were so well adjusted and played outside all day, which is what I want my kids doing, anyway! There were three kids, aged 5-10, living there, and those three kids all shared a loft in their house, and the number of toys they could have were the toys that could make up a wall in the loft between their bed and their sibling's. That's all they needed. And I never heard those kids say they were bored.

Dancing Rabbit had more of an impact on me then I can put into words. I love the idea of using so little, that each and everything thing has a purpose, and has a proper way to dispose of, so that it's like it never existed.

If you EVER have a chance to stay in an Eco-village - do not turn up the chance! No matter how far out of your comfort zone you have to go, it will change your life, and provide a ton of motivation and inspiration!!!
